March Madness tickets 2019: Prices, host sites for NCAA Tournament, Final Four | NCAA Basketball
One of the biggest, most exciting events in sports is almost here but there ia a lot that still needs to be determined before the NCAA men’s basketball tournament can begin.
There are teams fighting for higher seeding and other teams are still on the bubble, just hoping for a shot at the Big Dance.
One thing we know for sure is where the tournament rounds will be played. Every 2019 venue has hosted a men’s tournament game in the past, except for Colonial Life Arena in South Carolina, which has its shot at hosting for the first time this season.
There are still tickets available for each tournament round, but as the stakes get higher, ticket prices go up.
Here’s everything you need to know about who is hosting each tournament round and how you can get a ticket to experience the madness in person.

The first and second round of NCAA Tournament play can be the most exciting. This is where upsets go down and brackets are busted. All of this year’s venues have hosted the opening rounds of the tournament prior to this season, except for Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C., which will host a NCAA men’s tournament event for the first time.
The XL Center has hosted this round five times before, but not in the last 21 years. The SAP Center, home of the San Jose Sharks, is set to host the opening round in 2021 as well.
March Madness schedule: Regionals

None of the regional venues are new to hosting the NCAA tournament. All four have hosted the opening and regional rounds before 2019 but none have had the chance to host the finals. The Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, has hosted the regionals for the men’s NCAA tournament six different times before this season: 1998, 2001, 2003, 2011, 2014 and 2016.
The Honda Center and the KFC Yum! Center hosted the regional rounds back in 2016, the Sprint Center in 2017 and Capital One Arena is hosting this round for the first time since 2013.
Final Four ticket prices
|April 6, 8||US Bank Stadium||Minneapolis||66,655||Buy Tickets|
Minnesota held the NCAA Final Four men’s basketball tournament in 2001 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Minnesota also hosted the tournament there in 1992.
U.S. Bank Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl 52, typically holds 66,655 people, but for this event, the stadium will be expandable to 72,000 people.
The NCAA offers different ticket packages for the Final Four and Finals events. For regular ticket exchange, Final Four tickets start at $250 and Final Four tickets are currently going for $175.
The event packages are where things get a little pricey. The In-Stadium hospitality package that includes both the Final Four games and the championship game is currently going for $2,251. The on-court experience for the semifinals and finals is also going for over $2,000.
The Final Four and national championship game are without a doubt the most exciting March Madness events, but also the most expensive.
