  1. It's just the Vivo camera on the Oneplus. They're the same company. They're in the same building, the phones are built in the same factory, open them up, the components inside are the same. BKK own both of them.

  2. water resistance is not a deal breaker. over the last ten years I had one issue with my phone soaked in water. I could see this single camera pop up grow to 3 cameras popping up, this is better than the notch or punch hole

  3. If, and I mean IF, Apple can drop the iPhone XI price back to $700 and iPhone Xs to $550. Then Apple can squeeze the midrange phones like Oneplus, Samsung A/M/J series, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi to death. And hang the high-end $1000+ phones from Samsung and Huawei to death, because apple's profit margin is much bigger due to limited features and less models to mass produce. Samsung and Huawei will not be able to lower the price of their flagship products.

  4. No OnePlus has had an IP rating so this wouldn't be an issue to me. The lack of wireless charging and a headphone jack are much more deal breakers to me than the lack of an IP rating.

  5. Much better than a notch and a hole punch given that not a lot of people really keep their phones for more than 2 years makes it less worrisome about the camera mechanism "breaking". Make it splash resistant and I'm in

  6. For me personally, I prefer just enough top and bottom bezels to house the cameras, sensors and some great front facing stereo speakers. Give me an S10 Plus with that and I'm in! But hey, that's just me.

  7. Not a selfie guy, popup mech is questionable. Water proofing for rain and other things would be good too. I like the full display. Tear drop looked pretty good but minimal bezels would of worked for me.

  8. For 10 years, I personally have yet to encounter a situation where I needed a water resistant phone. This goes from the OG Iphone 3GS days to now with my OP6T. What I want them to add instead is the headphone jack, and removable storage.

  9. OnePlus was great… Why do they gotta add a pop-up camera? Wasn't there any better option? (spoiler: there was) Aren't they supposed to focus on good phones without fancy shit to keep the costs down for they sooo loved community?
