  1. Michael Edwards (Eddie the Eagle), is one of the very few athletes that embodies the true spirit of the Olympics. Fighting for a dream against all odds for the privilege of competing. Making fun of that is just ridiculous; just because now it has become a shameless, corrupt, money grabbing company. Have some respect for what this organization used to be.

  2. For me, the most iconic ski jump moment was Vinko Bogataj's "agony of defeat" fall from 1970. I know it's not an Olympic moment, but it is one of the most indelible ski jump moments for any American of a certain age.

  3. So, where's Matti Nykänen, the greatest ever???? And Eddie was an inspiration, he had to go through a lot of things to get to the Olympics, don't ever disrespect him like that
