Elon Musk finally unveiled Tesla’s Model Y SUV on Thursday, March 14th. The vehicle is derived from the Model 3, with about 75% of the components being the same. The car can go from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, with the standard model having a range of 300 miles. The SUV will start at $39,000, with the long-range model costing $47,000. With the Model Y, Musk completes his plan to have the Tesla models spell “S-E-X-Y.”

  1. Thars not a SUV it's barely a crossover and call me a hater but I dont like it looks like a 3 and the interior is as bland as uncut bread sure the technical aspects are good but is this the future of cars electric things with bland interiors and barely any good design aspects…

  2. I was driving my Model x in deep fog the other night. Every other car was going very slow because you could barely see. I put it on autopilot and the car maneuvers perfectly. I love the thing. Best car I ever had.

  3. C for compact. Model SC and XC. Y, as in why make two Model 3 based cars. They seem to have enough trouble with Model 3 production. I wonder how much cheaper they could make the Y if they just made the Y.
